What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drilling and Completion Technician position at Olympus Energy?
This position will provide support to both the Drilling and Completion Departments by overseeing the
administration of our reporting system, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests,
streamlining data integration and cost tracking, and preparing regulatory reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and continually improve our reporting system by streamlining data entry and export documents
- Manage records keeping and final document save downs
- Working with EH&S groups on monthly/yearly reporting and pulling vendor data into our systems
- Responsible for building and uploading regulatory reports
- Work with accounting to reconcile invoices, payment to vendors, and track invoice activity
- Work with the different groups to accurately forecast project spend and close out projects
- Interact with engineering, construction, and field operations personnel as required.
- All duties to be performed in accordance with Olympus Energy’s Environmental, Health, and
Safety Guidelines.

- Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines
- Demonstrate computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including
- Must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work with minimum
- General knowledge of oil and gas production operations and midstream processes
- Strong working knowledge of low voltage electronics and basic oil and gas principles
- Proficient in invoicing, general office duties, and accounting practices
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum and Preferred Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study (Accounting, Business Administration, Environmental
- 2 years of experience in an administrative role (preferably within the oil and gas industry)
- Solid Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and preference on Spotfire software
- Working knowledge of Peloton Software is preferred (Siteview, Wellview, Prodview)
