OMA is looking for an intern to join our Communications team in New York starting from October 2024. The team is responsible for communicating OMA New York's work and thinking to global audiences.
You will assist the team in preparing press materials, lectures, marketing collateral, and social media content. In addition, you will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as handling media requests, monitoring press coverage, and maintaining in-house project documentation libraries and archives.
The internship offers the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with the partners leading OMA New York and contribute to the studio's communication strategy.
Qualifications :
- Students or recent graduates in architecture, journalism, communications, design, or art history
- Familiarity of OMA's projects
- Knowledge and interest in the broader cultural and social contexts of architecture
- Excellent verbal and written English; Japanese is a plus but not mandatory
- Proficiency Microsoft Office, primarily PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Skills in photography and video editing and proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro are a plus
- Proactive and self-directed with ability to work and communicate well within a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
