Summary
OMADA International-Sumner Division, a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Sumner, Washington is seeking a skilled, qualified, experienced Press operator capable of loading, running, and measuring metal parts to enhance the productivity of our organization. The ideal candidate will have prior hydraulic or press brake experience, a commitment to outstanding team effort, and a great attendance record.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be capable of learning and efficiently performing multiple functions throughout the forming department including but not limited to the operation of : Hot Form presses, CNC brake press, equipment set-up, use, and adjustment.
- Must have or immediately obtain a Fork Lift / Pallet Truck operators license (company provided).
- Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks.
- Must be capable of performing multi-tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Responsible for keeping equipment maintained and work area clean and orderly.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisor responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job operates in a manufacturing plant operation and professional office environment. This role may use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In the manufacturing environment, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes and / or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, excessive heat, cold, wet, bright light and slippery conditions. The noise level in the manufacturing plant can be very loud (ear protection is provided) .
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands / fingers to handle / feel; reach with hands and arms; climb; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; reach; pull; balance; carry; handle. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Ability to walk and stand on concrete surfaces for a significant amount of time during workday.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Hours / days of work will fluctuate as needed and required. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance is required. Must work 30 hours or more each week to maintain full-time status.

Ability to read / write / speak and understand English while performing required tasks, in emergencies or other situations to promote safety and / or cooperative work assignments.
