Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance - Operations to join their team. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and financial management. The ideal candidate will lead the financial operations team, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to provide financial insights that drive productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial processes to support operational excellence in manufacturing.
- Lead cost control initiatives, including monitoring material costs, labor, and overhead.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analytics.
- Manage financial risk and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and capital investments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing.
- Operations Management and Finance background highly preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including supply chain, production, and cost management.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
