Position Overview : As an Electrical Engineer, you'll combine technical excellence with leadership skills to design advanced electrical systems while mentoring team members and ensuring exceptional project delivery. Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership
Design and optimize power distribution systems
Develop lighting control systems and emergency power solutions
Perform load calculations and equipment sizing
Create short circuit and coordination studies
Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
Project Management
Lead cross-disciplinary coordination efforts
Monitor project scope, schedules, and deliverables
Guide technical documentation and specification development
Resolve design conflicts and optimize system integration
Coordinate with utilities and authorities having jurisdiction
Design Innovation
Create detailed electrical drawings and diagrams using advanced design software
Implement energy-efficient lighting and power solutions
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned
Contribute to engineering proposals and budget planning
Design emergency and standby power systems
Team Leadership
Facilitate team meetings and technical reviews
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
Lead code compliance reviews and quality control efforts

Qualifications :
Education & Licensure
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an EAC / ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
NCEES registration preferred
Experience
5 years of electrical engineering experience in building systems
Proven track record of diverse project delivery
Strong background in power distribution and lighting design
Technical Skills
Mastery of electrical design software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Experience with project management and collaboration tools
