Omaha Country Club is seeking a polished, service-focused Dining Room Manager to oversee daily food & beverage operations and deliver exceptional hospitality to our members and guests. This leadership role assists the Clubhouse Manager in managing dining and banquet operations, assisting in hiring and training staff, and maintaining high service standards. JOB DUTIES
Assist in managing the daily food and beverage operations of all dining and banquet areas inside the Clubhouse.
Supervise dining staff, assist in hiring, training and mentoring new team members. Foster teamwork through a positive and motivating work culture.
Oversee food and beverage services for events that take place at all satellite areas of the Club, including the Course Bars, Golf Learning Center, Tennis, Trap, Park, or other outdoor venues.
Provide impeccable customer service to ensure members and guests enjoy the best dining experience possible from beginning, through middle, to end.
Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations between culinary and serving staff.
Promptly handle member and guest feedback and complaints personally.
Monitor and maintain standards for safety, sanitation, cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Enforce company policies and standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma required.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university, preferably in hospitality management or related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination of professional industry certifications with relevant work experience is acceptable.
Minimum of two years of hospitality or culinary experience as a supervisor at a high-end private club or hotel/resort.
In-depth knowledge of fine dining etiquette and menu offerings as well as wine, beer, and spirits.
Represent Omaha Country Club with a polished, professional appearance.
Ability to lead with a positive, respectful, optimistic, can-do attitude.
Able to multi-task and problem solve while working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
Must have reliable attendance, a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Fluent in English, ability to converse and listen effectively through written and verbal communications.
Must be 19 years of age.
Must be able to abide by the OCC Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Policy.
SCHEDULE
On-Site, full-time, hourly position in Omaha. Approximately 40 hours per week.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
COMPENSATION
Starting Pay Rate: $22 to $24 per hour.
