This position is our customer's first point of contact. Therefore, it is important to understand garage door:

To be successful in this position you need:
- Knowledge of the Greater Omaha Metropolitan area because this position is responsible for routing our technicians to our customers.
- The ability to ask probing questions, to assist the technician with identifying why the garage door is not working properly.
- The ability to handle multiple projects with effective time management skills.
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and other applications.

Essential Functions:
- Supports the Company's mission, vision and core values
- Maintains contact with managers, sales staff, and installers on assigned projects
- Schedules and assigns installers to projects daily based on their skills and expertise
- Keeps the schedules updated throughout the life of the project, generating reports, and identifying deviations notifying managers, sales staff, and installers of these changes
- Answers and routes inbound calls professionally and efficiently
- Dispatches inbound calls to service technicians as needed
- Ensures picking tickets have correct, detailed information including installer dates, times, inventory numbers, and any pictures enabling the ticket to be billed properly
- Documents customer and service company call information to allow for proper flow of paperwork
- Provides customer service via telephone or walk-ins at the counter
- Takes service applications
- Responsible for billing on Net 30 customer accounts
- Assists with COD billing as needed
- Creates service tickets as needed
- Assists with timekeeping for service personnel
- Provides assistance in answering service installers/technicians questions as needed
- Responsible for after-hours and on-call phone service
- Maintains day-to-day communication with the Service Manager
Educational/Experience Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- A minimum of (1) year of customer service experience
- Ability to work after hours and Saturday's
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office
- Experience in handling multi-line phone system
- Must be able to pass (post-offer) background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Near vision and far vision necessary and the ability to adjust focus
- Good hearing and continuous verbal (speaking) communication
- Occasional reaching requirements of out, overhead, and low (below knees)
- Must be able to do continuous sitting and frequent standing
- Must be able to climb stairs, and ladders
- Good dexterity of fingers/hands
