FLSA Status : Non-exempt
Hours : Part-Time (flexible schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week including weekends and holidays)
Wage : $16.75
This position is considered year-round, part-time.
Summary :
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a Shift Supervisor of Campouts / Catering to assist with putting together campout snacks, preparing and serving campout dinners, preparing and serving campout breakfasts, preparing and serving preschool lunches, planning out monthly preschool menu, and assisting catering events when needed. This position will report to the Catering Assistant Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to) :
- Counting out and packaging campout snacks.
- Preparing campout breakfasts.
- Preparing and serving campout dinners.
- Preparing and delivering preschool lunches (September through May).
- Assisting with catered events.
- Assisting with picnics.
- Taking inventory of product weekly and ordering appropriately.
- Accurately preparing and filling out paperwork and submit paperwork to Catering Assistant Manager.

Work is performed indoors and outdoors. Must wear close toe shoes. While in performance of job duties, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, signal and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch and / or crawl; talk and hear; frequently lift 25 pounds using safe and proper methods.
