Clincal Counselor

As a Clinical Therapist at Omaha Mental Health, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome personal challenges, improve their mental health, and enhance their overall well-being. You will work with diverse clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, group, and or family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date record, progress notes, and treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current Licensure as a Clinical Therapist in Nebraska

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
