Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies that support multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of applications including:
- System and data analysis, architecture and design.
- Data integration and workflow design.
- Software development, configuration and customization.
- Determines technical system specifications based on project requirements, including input/output requirements, file structure, etc.
- Manages time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.
- Participates in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions.
- Understands Agile methodology and instills best practices into the process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of software development with emphasis on applications development.
- Knowledge of web services, ESB, SOA, distributed and interoperability - understanding of web service protocols such as SOAP and REST.
- Hands-on experience with Java, XML, HTTP, JS.
- Experience with RDBMS, SQL.
- Excellent analytical ability.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in team environment while possessing individual accountability.
- Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly assure the quality of completed work.
- Ability to stay on task and meet deadlines for repetitive duties.
