What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Warehouse Freezer Team Member position at Omaha Steaks?
Location: 11340 S 153rd St, Omaha NE 68138
Schedule:
- This is a part-time position, Monday through Thursday from 10am - 2pm. (Subject to change based on company needs)
Essential job duties include:
- Selects inventory items individually from the freezer in an accurate and timely manner.
- Selects product for various sized containers from flow racks, pulls masters and ride-alongs for assembly. Follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.
- Reviews and verifies Recap Report and Production Report Listing to determine daily and future shipping inventory levels versus orders shipping. Prepares product shortage lists.
- Visually inspects product packaging for holes, cleanliness, and other defects that may result in customer receipt of damaged goods or unsightly product.
- Responsible for proper rotation of stock and maintaining the integrity of the product by ensuring the proper temperature environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned. May assist with inventory process. Responsible for proper inspection and the safe use of power equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to understand and follow directions accurately.
- 6 months experience with inventory, order selection and have worked within a freezer environment preferred.
