Summary:
The Baseball Operations Seasonal Associate is responsible for assisting the VP, Baseball & Facility Operations with baseball and clubhouse related items. This position also provides support and customer service to players, coaches, umpires, and other team personnel as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with team packing, loading/unloading of bags and trunks.
- Assist with fulfilling special requests from players and coaches.
- Assist with all aspects of team travel, including (but not limited to) airport arrivals, departures, luggage runs, etc.
- Assist with scheduling player appearances, for sponsored and non-sponsored events/activities.
- Serve as day-to-day liaison, become contact point for all clubhouse needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the game of baseball
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to understand and work within a budget
- Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
