Summary:
Ticket Sellers/Takers are primarily responsible for the processing of single game ticket sales, distribution of Will Call tickets to patrons of Werner Park, and/or greeting fans at gates to scan their tickets. These roles are pivotal to Werner Park during Omaha Storm Chasers and Union Omaha games and events, as they are a first line of customer service. All members of the Werner Park event staff are required to work at least 50% of Werner Park Events in 2024.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the processing of single ticket sales and distribution of Will Call tickets
- Greet fans, provide a positive first impression to patrons entering Werner Park
- Assist with digital ticket issues, as they arise
- Scan tickets for entry into the facility
- Use Tickets Dot Com (TDC) ticketing system
- Provide accurate and fast information to guests regarding to the ballpark events and ticketing policies
- Handling cash and credit transactions each game day
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Comfortable with use of computers
- Strong communication skills
- Able to handle cash and make change accurately
- Knowledge of Werner Park preferred
Working Conditions:
This job operates in an environment located at a ballpark. This job may require long periods of standing. This job occasionally requires light lifting and moving of fixtures. Performance of this job may require exposure to extreme weather conditions.
