Summary:
The Omaha Storm Chasers Gameday Intern position is geared towards college students interested in exploring a career in the sports industry and is comprised of 6-10 students. This group will have the unique opportunity to learn about the full gameday operation, from event presentation and promotion to stadium preparations and upkeep! This is a paid internship, and our gameday interns will be expected to work all home baseball games, soccer games, special events, AND contribute to community efforts in the 2025 season (approximately 250-300 hours). Accommodations can be made; however, the ideal candidate(s) would be available to start between late-March to mid-May.

Preferred Internship Qualifications:
- A desire to learn about a Minor League Baseball team’s gameday operations
- A desire to excel in the team sports industry and a commitment to career development
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Available to work non-traditional work hours
- Ability to work in a team environment, and work together towards team goals
- Ability to juggle a variety of tasks and assignments
- Must be able to lift or push at least 25 pounds
- Attention to detail and safety of fans
- Knowledge of the game of baseball is preferred
- Must be able to follow directions, as well as work independently
- Ability to easily stand for extended periods of time and move up and down stairs
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including cold, wind, rain and heat
Working Conditions:
This job operates in an environment located at a ballpark. This job may require extended periods of standing. This job occasionally requires light lifting and moving of fixtures. Performance of this job may require exposure to extreme weather conditions.
