Summary:
The Stadium Operations Seasonal Associate assists the Operations Department with maintenance and cleanliness of Werner Park, including performing maintenance and janitorial services. This individual assists with ensuring the stadium is operational and ready for baseball, soccer, and special events. This position does not include groundskeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general facility maintenance including equipment inspection and monitoring throughout the facility
- Assist with improvement projects to increase safety, efficiencies and capacity
- Maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems
- Assists with ordering and maintaining all supplies and equipment
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and other government safety regulations
- Manage projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or progress towards a degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred, but not required
- Prior maintenance and project management experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry preferred
- Knowledge of ballpark operations preferred
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
- Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Working Conditions:
This job is performed in a ballpark; and therefore, there is possible exposure to extreme weather conditions. This individual will operate heavy machinery and power tools.
