The APRN provides patient-centered care, working collaboratively with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare providers to deliver both short-term and long-term care to patients. The APRN is integral from the moment a patient enters the clinic, participating in patient evaluations, developing and executing treatment plans, administering treatments and medications, and providing patient education. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with an expectation of attendance from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The APRN serves as a key liaison between doctors, patients, and other care providers, making effective communication skills essential.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Collaborate with clinical providers to fulfill patient needs and requests.
  • Develop and document patient care plans, ensuring all medical details are accurately recorded.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, testing, and follow-up procedures.
  • Provide direct patient care throughout the treatment process, including conducting patient intake, gathering information on current symptoms, medical history, and medications.
  • Assess vital signs, administer EKGs, respiratory treatments, and other necessary interventions.
  • Guide patients to the appropriate clinical areas such as examination rooms, laboratories, or pharmacies.
  • Assist in procedures by preparing equipment, supporting clinical providers, and directly participating in care delivery.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including oral, rectal, intravenous, or direct injections, as ordered.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and conduct follow-up assessments in person or via phone.
  • Perform specialized procedures such as wound care, central line dressing changes, and wound vacuum management.
  • Administer vaccines according to immunization schedules for adults, adolescents, and children.
  • Continuously assess and document patient health, recovery, and response to treatments, ensuring records are updated with new information.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures, disposing of hazardous materials, and sanitizing equipment.
  • Ensure examination rooms and workstations are fully stocked and ready for use.
  • Provide patient education, including information on COVID-19 prevention, isolation, and overall health management.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and privacy laws, maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information.
  • Participate in team meetings and additional training sessions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on advanced practice nursing.
  • Certification as an APRN in a relevant specialty.
  • Extensive experience in clinical practice, patient care, and developing patient care plans.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

  • Current APRN license in the state of practice.
  • National certification from an approved NP board (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITIES:

  • In-depth knowledge of advanced examination and treatment processes.
  • Advanced medical assessment.
  • Patient-centered care planning and implementation.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with patients and care providers.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on evolving medical practices, including advanced diabetes care and insulin pump therapy.
  • Strong triage skills to manage patient needs, whether through phone consultations, walk-ins, or scheduled visits.

Must pass background check, physical, and pre-employment drug screen.

Salary : $48 - $62
