Looking for Bartender with Experience for Japanese Restaurant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your role will be crucial in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while upholding our standards of hospitality.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during fine dining or banquet events.
• Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and managing tabs.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are crucial for interacting with customers effectively.
• A passion for sales and upselling drink specials or menu items is a plus.
