Key Responsibilities : Processing Vehicle Sales : Manage the legal transfer of vehicle titles by preparing necessary documents like title applications, registration forms, and payoff checks. Document Verification : Check all vehicle titles and related documents for accuracy, including verifying ownership information, lienholder details, and odometer readings. Tax and Fee Calculations : Calculate and process applicable taxes and fees related to vehicle registration. Compliance with Regulations : Stay updated on state and federal regulations regarding vehicle title transfers and ensure all paperwork adheres to legal requirements. Customer Interaction : Communicate with customers regarding the title transfer process, explaining necessary documentation, and addressing any concerns. Recordkeeping : Maintain accurate records of vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork. Data Entry : Input vehicle information into dealership management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Lien Management : Process lien releases and payments when necessary, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
