Position Summary:
Omar Coffee Company is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The primary responsibility of this role is to accumulate daily coffee orders through calls and emails. These orders will be used to create invoices, load sheets, manifests, and delivery routes. Acting as the liaison between our valued customers and Omar Coffee, this position will also assist with ongoing projects to ensure a positive experience for both customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a large volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls.
- Handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to ensure the proper delivery of goods and services.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to build trust and sustainable relationships.
- Manage daily website orders.
- Assist with daily production entries and month-end inventory.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven customer support experience.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with adaptability to handle different situations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Multi-tasking abilities and a willingness to take on tasks outside the job description.
- Strong computer skills.
- Eagerness to learn new tasks.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with Sage or similar software.
- Accounting or financial experience.
- Interest in enhancing social media presence.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
