What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician position at Omco Solar?
Seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, weld and fabricate, troubleshoot, and make repairs to mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems relative to our equipment, machinery, and special application tools and fixtures to support manufacturing. This person will be based in our Wickliffe, OH corporate headquarters, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In collaboration with the maintenance team, maintain, repair, and aid in new projects related to roll forming machines, punch presses, and all other auxiliary manufacturing equipment. Use CMMS software for planned work, work logging, parts inventory, and time reconciliation. Aid in projects such as equipment builds, equipment relocation, and sourcing technical details. Perform daily duties in compliance with good safety guidelines, best practices, company standards, and consideration of affect to customer specifications. Maintain a clean workspace and thorough completion of work before returning to use. Work with personnel inside and outside of OMCO on a regular basis to provide best solutions. Other duties as needed.
· Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting
· Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
· Able to interpret various schematics
· Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
· Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
· Specification of equipment and parts
· Proficiency in using electronic devices and computers for work
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 4 years applicable industrial equipment maintenance

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
