Vacancy for Executive Assistant
Location: Support, East Bank Demerara, Guyana.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate and prepare agendas, reports, and presentations for executive meetings, board meetings, and other engagements.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, and investors.
- Draft, review, and manage email correspondence and other communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and department heads, ensuring timely communication and follow-up on tasks and projects.
- Assist the CEO in managing high-priority projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Provide administrative support for strategic initiatives, including coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking project progress.
- Organize domestic and international travel for the CEO, including itinerary planning, transportation, accommodations, and travel documentation.
- Plan and coordinate executive-level events, meetings, and conferences.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for important documents, contracts, and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting a CEO or other C-level executives.
- Experience in managing complex schedules, travel arrangements, and high-level projects.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Experience in corporate governance and board administration.
- Familiarity with financial and business reports.

- This position may require occasional travel.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary to accommodate the CEO’s schedule.
