THE POSITION
We are looking for a full-time Content & Education Specialist to join our team, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This position assists in driving our mission by creating engaging and informative content, as well as facilitating live customer training sessions. This position will collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, service, projects, and client success to develop content for client acquisition purposes, and end-user training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and create engaging, informative, and effective learning materials and content, including presentations, videos, blog posts and training materials that will resonate with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct both live and recorded customer training sessions on basic software, cybersecurity principles, phone system use, and other technology-related topics.
- Tailor training sessions to various customer segments, ensuring relevance and clarity for non-technical audiences.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training content through analytics, feedback, and user engagement.
- Partner with technology vendors and other members of the business community to identify areas for collaboration
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, English, Education or related field and/ or 1 year(s) of experience creating content in a business setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as comfort public speaking.
- Strong proofing and editing skills with a drive for accuracy and detail.
- Ability to break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand materials for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in content creation, education, instructional design, or technical writing.
- Experience with podcasting platforms, editing tools and equipment a plus.
