Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance, with the ability to work effectively in various environments, including self storage construction. This role requires hands-on experience in building structures, performing repairs, and managing equipment. The Builder will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble structures according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on existing buildings and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Supervise team members during construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage irrigation systems to support landscaping and agricultural needs.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to building projects.
• Lift heavy materials as required for various construction tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience in supervising teams or projects is desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Knowledge of animal handling techniques is beneficial for roles involving farm operations.

Pay: $21.38 - $23.63 per hour
