Contribute to a pressure transducer and load cell product design team by creating CAD models and engineering drawings, conducting product development testing, and creating engineering design change orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Create CAD models, assemblies and drawings for CNC machinists, and design change orders.
- Conduct development testing of pressure and load products in a lab environment.
- Create product documentation change orders to revise / release bills of materials.
- Learn and use SolidWorks PDM to manage engineering documentation.
- Participate in A3PS initiative to reduce scrap by evaluating products to determine root cause of issues.
- Use 3D printing equipment to build prototype parts and test fixtures.
- Prepare reports concerning project specifications, test data, completed activities, or current status.
- Evaluate products for cost and cost out initiatives.
- Investigate use of AI in our industry and how it benefits our team.
