What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead DSP - White Marsh - Full Time (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm) position at Omega Home Care?

We are currently seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) with the experience, knowledge, skill and abilities outlined below.
Duties:
- Provide behavior management and case management for the developmentally disabled individuals in need of support
- Assist with patient care, including caregiving, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Create and implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual
- Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate medical professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Ensure compliance of all required documentation
- Attend PCP meetings
- Manage Direct Support staff
- Other duties as assigned by Residential Program Manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- At least two (2) years of experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior management techniques and case management principles
- Valid Certified Medical Technician Certification (CMT)
- Valid CPR Certification and understanding of ADLs
- DDA Training (preferred)

- Working knowledge of MD COMAR regulations relating to the developmentally disabled

- Works well independently and has strong operational skills.
- Is empathetic, compassionate, patient and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Communicates effectively and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
