Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards and FDA regulations.
- Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Analyze inspection data and report findings to management, identifying trends or areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and develop corrective actions.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain records in compliance with QA/QC standards.
- Utilize software tools such as Calypso for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices, including HACCP and FDA regulations.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise inspections.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with quality auditing processes and documentation requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
