Summary
Holistic Education Programs creates and supports the many educational programs for community, as well as maintains an overall commitment to maintaining an atmosphere of community on campus through the Art Hut, Open Mics, Movie Nights, etc. Holistic Education Programs is also responsible for overseeing the Hermitage Program and the Core Faculty Optional classes for the participants and staff.
Essential Functions

Essential Functions
- Offer a balance of daytime and evening art hut access for community members
- Create welcoming ambiance for Art Hut attendees, and support them in their creative process
- Keep art materials organized and inventoried
- Order supplies and maintain art supply purchases within allotted budget
- Keep Art Hut free of clutter
- Offer at least 20 hours of Open Studio in the Art Hut per week (including some evening hours)
- Clean or oversee cleaning of community spaces weekly, including Cattail, Mulberry and Hillhouse.
- Serve as a point of contact on shift for People and Culture and Staff Programming
- Create community Arts and Crafts fairs once each work period
- Host monthly events
- Have a working relation with Cafe Manager in order to curate and display art work in the café .
- At the start of the season assist with faculty coordination duties and offer insights, data, and any communication needed to maintain the best transition of this role.

Seasonal staff work full-time between late-May through mid-October. Seasonal staff receive a compensation package that includes:
- Wage
- Indoor housing
- Three delicious meals per day in our mostly vegetarian Dining Hall
- Access to Omega’s team member benefits
- This compensation package is at minimum equivalent to the New York State minimum wage.
