Position Overview:
We are seeking a personal injury attorney to join our prelitigation department. In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation. You will diligently represent our clients' interests and ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cases through the pre-litigation process from intake through demand, negotiation, and settlement
- Review and analyze case files to identify legal issues, assess strengths and weaknesses, and develop case strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates, settlement offers, and other relevant matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
- Review work product, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-litigation processes
- May provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to legal staff involved in pre-litigation matters
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
- Strong interest in Personal Injury law or previous experience, ideally on the Plaintiff's side
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, opposing parties, witnesses, medical professionals, law enforcement, and colleagues in personal injury cases
- Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism
- Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills
- This role is located at our Beverly Hills office and requires physical presence on-site.
