Dining Room Supervisor
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of the dining room staff to provide professional and fine dining services to residents, families and visitors. Activities will include ensuring adequate staff coverage, assisting residents and guests with special requests, and directing effective dining room service.

Essential Duties
- Adheres to the policies, operating procedures, the Mission and Core Values of Omega Senior Living.
- Directly supervises all dining room attendants and dietary aides while assigned to the dining room area.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for dining room services.
- Responsible for training all dining room staff on the standards of Omega Dining standards
- Responsible for proper setup and cleanliness of dining room including tables, beverage service area and other setup as assigned.
- Oversee and coordinate dining room and service staff with table and section assignments.
- Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous service to the residents and guest during mealtimes.
- Communicate special food requests, meal concerns and other comments to the Chef/Cook.
- Ensures dining room server stations and tables are properly stocked and maintained with all required supplies throughout the shift.
- Ensures the cleanliness of chairs, table bases and dining room floors as well as the sanitation of services and eating areas.
- Monitors the dining room for spills, spot treatments, vacuuming and sweeping.
- Assists in all areas of dining service as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chef.
- Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings, in-services and web-based trainings.

- High school diploma or GED required
- EXPERIENCE Prefer prior experience in a commercial restaurant, AL, IL or SNF. Prefer prior experience supervising dining room or restaurant staff.

Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing food practices.
