Receptionist -Teal Creek Assisted Living

Teal Creek is seeking an experienced Full time Receptionist in Assisted Living for daytime M-F, offering competitive pay, professional development, and room for advancement.

The main functions of this position are to greet people arriving at the facility, answer the telephone, perform various tasks, assist in the daily operation of the facility along with all other duties as assigned. Maintain records, files and verifies information, basic building administration backup and performs basic clerical support and receptionist duties as assigned.

Essential Duties

  • Adheres to the policies, operating procedures, the Mission and core Values of Omega Senior Living
  • Responsible for warmly and courteously greeting all visitors, resident, agencies and associates arriving at the residence
  • Answer and direct all incoming call in accordance with company practices and guidance
  • Takes messages from callers and ensures they are delivered to the appropriate person/s
  • Assist in the daily operation of the community, when required by the Executive Director/Administrator
  • Complete initial inquiry sheets for prospects when sales personnel are not available
  • Assist Sales Director with compiling information on competitor rates and series as directed
  • Prepare and mail newsletter and introductory material for mailing list members
  • Collect information on vendors, ancillary services and activities offered in the community for resource directories
  • Provide assistance to Executive Director/Administrator to support community and community events
  • Prepare and forward copies of administrative materials that are needed by the Executive Director/Administrator
  • Assist Sales Director in maintaining proper inventory of marketing materials as needed
  • Assist Executive Director/Administrator with maintaining administrative files for compliance with regulations and company policy
  • Processes documenst for inclusion in associate file
  • Perform cleaning of building common areas as required
  • Perform administrative work assigned including typing, faxing, copying, filing, accepting packages and preparing mailings.
  • Assist Executive Director/Administrator in maintaining full, accurate sets of policies and procedures, forms and operating manuals
  • Reports any resident tor visitor concerns to the Executive Director/Administrator in a timely and professional manner
  • Nighttime receptionist must be immediately available and awake
  • Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings in-services and web-based training

Education

  • High School diploma or GED required

Experience

  • Requires prior experience in a host/hostess, receptionist or administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excell
