Job Summary
Omega Technical Services is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our high-performing team in Oak Ridge, TN. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resource Operations, this onsite role is pivotal to our mission of delivering world-class talent to critical federal programs.

You'll be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle and play a vital role in developing strategies, attending events, and driving success across multiple technical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full life cycle recruitment for technical and cleared positions: write job descriptions, post jobs, source candidates, coordinate interviews, conduct references, and manage offers.
- Strategically source and pipeline passive candidates for current and future openings.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and improve candidate targeting.
- Support proposal efforts by identifying and vetting candidates in advance of contract awards.
- Maintain organized candidate records in Paycom (ATS) and shared recruitment trackers.
- Train and support hiring managers on recruiting best practices and interview preparation.
- Attend and represent Omega at career fairs, industry events, and outreach efforts.
- Partner closely with HR for seamless onboarding of new hires.
- Act as a brand ambassador and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish.
- Coordinate with 3rd party recruiters and internal resources to fill roles efficiently.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, with focus on technical roles.
- Experience supporting federal government clients (DoD, DOE, or State Department).
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms, preferably Paycom.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Understanding of federal hiring laws, EEO, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple searches and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in a Department of Energy (DOE) environment.
- Recruiting certifications such as AIRS CIR/PRC, LinkedIn Certified Professional-Recruiter, or similar industry-recognized credentials.
- Previous hands-on experience with Paycom is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer and working at a desk.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs at times.
