POSITION DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will work with collaborating teams to extract, analyze, and summarize data from multiple production, historic and document databases in support of investigations, issue resolutions, document generation, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Run and create Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts to extract required information.
- Run and create SQL scripts to update required information.
- Create clear and concise documentation.
- Support department requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in information technology, science or mathematics and at least four (4) years of applicable data analysis/management experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- 4 years of applicable data analysis experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and use in data access and analysis.
- Experience writing database queries using Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).
- Experience using Microsoft Access.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of document generation and Microsoft Word.
- Proficient in data management including data analytical capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and proven ability to handle multiple priorities/projects.
- Demonstrated ability working with multiple teams.
- Must be capable of qualifying as a Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) AK Expert (AKE).
- Must be familiar with, and comply with, all relevant health and safety requirements. Must be knowledgeable of emergency action policies and procedures, methods for reporting/resolving unsafe work practices or conditions to available cognizant professionals.
- Knows and complies with environmental, safety, health, and pollution prevention regulations, policies, and procedures for this position. Ensures own safety and safety of coworkers. Reports unsafe work conditions to immediate manager.
- Ensures that the five core functions of the Integrated Safety Management System are understood and applied when performing job duties. Ensures that operational excellence is achieved through appropriate implementation of conduct of operations.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.

- Previous Department of Energy Experience.
