SolidWorks Drafter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drafting principles and be proficient in various CAD software. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics that support the design and construction of mechanical systems. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Duties

• Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software primarily Solidworks and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create 3D models and renderings using SolidWorks to visualize designs.
• Draft mechanical design layouts, ensuring all components are accurately represented.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drafts, revisions, and project files.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed.

Experience

• Proficiency in CAD software, primarily SolidWorks, and AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience in drafting schematics for mechanical systems is preferred.
• A solid understanding of mechanical design principles is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant education in drafting or engineering technology is advantageous.
