As the Sales and Marketing Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, developing strategies, and ensuring we meet our sales and marketing objectives.

The Sales and Marketing Leader thrives in a culture of accountability and will diligently and consistently manage our sales pipeline, including working with an external marketing company to bring in new leads and qualifying new leads to ensure it's a win-win for both the client and us, and most importantly CLOSING new deals.
Top Three Expected Results:
Client Acquisition: Closing new logo sales deals is the #1 goal for the Sales and Marketing Leader. There will be an annual target that you will be responsible to hit.
Sales Appointments: Setting and sitting new sales appointments to qualify and move a lead through our proven process. There will be a quarterly target that you will be responsible to hit.
New Leads: Working with an external marketing company and/or internal marketing and sales support staff to generate the requisite raw leads that will convert into sales appointments. There will be a target that you will be responsible to meet each week.
The Sales and Marketing Leader is a leadership position at OmegaCor. Therefore, like all leaders at OmegaCor, you will also be responsible for setting and achieving quarterly initiatives with a target of 80% completion or higher.
Overview Of Responsibilities:
New Logo Sales
- Follow up on all leads that come in from marketing
- Hold sales appointments to qualify
- Close new deals
- Hit your sales targets
- Manage the overall sales pipeline. Know your numbers and track them diligently to achieve sales goals for the year
Business Development & Networking
- Prospect for new opportunities through networking, events, strategic partnerships, LinkedIn, and referrals
- Consistently follow up on all prospects with rigor
- Track everything "religiously" in our CRM
Lead Generation
- Work with an external marketing company and/or internal marketing and sales staff to generate the requisite raw leads to convert into sales appointments.
- Accountable for results from the overall marketing strategy
Sales & Marketing Processes
- Ensure we have rock-solid sales and marketing processes that consistently generate results.
- Ensure all CORE processes related to you and your team have been simplified, documented, and followed by all (FBA).
- Ensure any processes and checklists related to the sales and marketing team are accurate, followed, and contribute to the team's overall success.
Leading, Managing, and Holding others Accountable (LMA)
- Set annual sales plans and goals.
- Hold quarterly planning meetings with your team and set thoughtful quarterly initiatives ("Rocks") that contribute to annual goals and/or YOUR top three expected results.
- Arrive prepared for quarterly and annual meetings and ensure your team has Rocks that cascade or contribute to the annual operating plan.
- You and your team should consistently achieve an 80% or higher completion rate for Rocks every quarter.
- Hold and lead a weekly sales meeting on the same day and time and with the same agenda.
- Know and hold each person accountable to "their number" (and your own!).
- Have quarterly conversations with each of your direct reports using the 5-5-5 methodology (Roles, Rocks, and Core Values).
- Keep track of their performance using the "People Analyzer" tool.
- Develop training and education development plans for staff.
- Participate in ongoing sales leadership learning opportunities and/or education programs.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, CS/MIS, or a related field preferred
- 7 years of experience in B2B sales
- Proven success prospecting and closing sales
- Working in Managed IT Service Provider business, preferred and/or
- Working with Non-Profits, Churches, and B-Corps in a professional capacity
Skills & Expertise:
- Proven record developing and managing a Sales Process/Playbook
- Proficient in using professional CRMs and other sales tools such as Linked In Sales Navigator or Pardot
- A great "business networker"
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
