What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping - Part Time - Behavioral Pinchot position at OMEX?
The Housekeeper performs manual labor associated with the cleaning of the patient rooms, lobby, restrooms, break areas, kitchen and entrances. Duties require moderate physical strength and stamina. Work includes dust mopping, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence and patient confidentiality at all times. The performance of these duties is
Monday - Friday Day shift (8 am - 12pm) at the below locations:
Behavioral Pinchot ICF – 3322 E Pinchot, Phoenix, AZ 85018
Regular Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Empty trash containers and recycle receptacles.
2. Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, floors.
3. Clean light switches and all doorknobs.
4. Clean inside and outside of microwave.
5. Disinfect interior/exterior door handles/knobs/ADA door buttons/push bars
6. Disinfect all break room tables/surfaces/chairs
7. Disinfect all lobby chairs (full wipe down)
8. Clean restroom fixtures and keep restroom supplied with towels, toilet tissue, soap, and other items.
9. Empty trash in break room area.
10. Clean door glass interior and exterior.
11. Police areas around outside of building
12. Perform related work as required and instructed
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
1. May be required to test for COVID-19
2. Must be capable of lifting up to 65 pounds and the ability to push, pull carpet/floor machines, vacuum cleaners, furniture, and carts.
3. Able to stand on feet for long periods, climb, bend and do extensive walking.
4. Reasonable care is required to prevent injury and accidents for others.
5. May be required to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or any other shift as dictated by the department workload and staffing.
6. Flow of work and type of duties require flexibility and normal mental and visual demand much of the time.
Experience:
• Must be able to perform and complete repetitive tasks regardless of interruptions.
• Knowledge of cleaning various types of floors, windows, etc.
• Knowledge of the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
