Duties

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
• Utilize kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Cook in fine dining or restaurant settings.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Ability to plan menus that cater to various dietary needs.
• Proficient in food preparation techniques with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Experience in catering is a plus, showcasing versatility in culinary skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
