OMG National, a 35-year old marketing and advertising firm and five-year Inc. 5000 recipient, is seeking a qualified WordPress Designer / Developer. This is a key position that will be responsible for design and development of a large quantity of website projects from start to completion. The Designer / Developer will have the ability to work on a wide range of clients throughout many different industries. This is a critical position as we look to add to our web department of elite designers and developers. A successful candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of both website and mobile site design, must be able to show examples of their previous work, and must have experience in designing websites based on the WordPress platform.

OMG National's office is a creative environment featuring an eclectic staff of individuals in a business casual atmosphere. Our company is headquartered in Davie, Florida but we have employees working from home / remote across the country!

Hiring Process Overview: Due to the expected large volume of applicants, qualified individuals (as determined by their submitted resumes) will be asked to submit 3-5 WordPress websites that reflect their best design / development work. From there, we will have several rounds of interviews as we narrow the field to our final candidates. We are looking to fill the position ASAP.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Design modern, visually appealing, creative websites within WordPress.
- Develop and customize elements on new and existing WordPress websites.
- Manipulate a comprehensive library of WordPress themes and plugins given the project specifications.
- Troubleshoot advance PHP, MySQL, CSS, & HTML issues related to WordPress websites.
- Produce custom website / mobile site layouts and execute revisions to them in a rapid and accurate manner.
- Be extremely organized in communicating with internal Project Managers, following detailed instructions, and working within out proprietary CRM, effectively and efficiently.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree, preferably in Graphic Design, or like-minded computer related field.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, WordPress, PHP, and Website Design.
- 3 years of graphic website / mobile site design experience.
- Portfolio of at least five completed / published WordPress websites.
