Full Stack JavaScript Developer w/React, Node, & Azure (Hybrid - Washington, DC)
We are seeking to hire a candidate with the specified skill set and experience for one of our clients within the banking industry, World Bank Group. This is a contracting role with hybrid work arrangement, requiring 4 days onsite. Therefore, only local candidates in Washington, DC will be considered.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Full Stack JavaScript Developer with expertise in React, Node.js, and Azure and will be able to contribute effectively to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Reactand Node.js
- Leverage Azure Cloud to deploy, manage, and host applications, with a focus on using Azure Web Apps for hosting services.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for managing the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that meets the projects goals and performance expectations.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development practices and tools.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on React, Nodeand Java development.
- Proven experience working with Azure Cloud, including Azure Web Apps for hosting and Azure DevOps for development and deployment workflows.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Solid experience with back-end development using Node.js
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

- Employment Type: W2 only. NO C2C. Only USC, GC, GC EAD, or TN visa holders are eligible.
- Job Location: Local candidates only Must be able to work on-site 4 days a week in Washington, DC.
- Contract Rate/Salary: $58 on W2.
