We are looking to hire a candidate with the mentioned skills and experience for one of our direct clients within the Technology industry out of Newark, NJ. This is a 6-month contract opportunity, open for C2C with the potential to extend. It is a hybrid role (2-3 days being onsite) at the Newark, NJ office, with occasional travel to Pittsburgh, PA (which is expected to be once a month). Thus, we are looking at local candidates in NJ, NY, PA and the Tristate areas who can be onsite at the Newark, NJ office.

Job Summary:
The Senior React Engineer/Architect will help to iteratively build a new Web App for an industry leading startup. This person will work collaboratively as part of a team designing & building end-to-end solutions. The project is client facing and will require occasional travel to Pittsburgh, PA (where the project client is located). Being onsite every 4 weeks for 3-4 days is expected. When not traveling to the client s site, you will be expected to be in the Newark, NJ office 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities will include:
- Work with Dev Team to define a roadmap and build a new WebApp.
- Work with UX designers to help refine requirements and evaluate complexity trade-offs on design.
- Work with Back End Engineers on the Design and Implementation of services.
- Design and build front end Web App.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10 years of experience developing front end applications with JavaScript frameworks.
- Solid JavaScript development skill is a MUST.
- 5 years of strong experience in React JS building customer facing applications.
- 5 years of experience building new Web Apps with React.js.
- Experience with CSS a MUST.
- Experience with React Flow is highly desired.
- Able to make front end design decisions and knowledge of best practices.
- Experience building customer facing web applications.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Effective communications skills.

- Employment Type: Contract to Hire (CTH), or Contract (C2C).
- Contracting Period: 6 months contracting opportunity with the potential for extension.
- Job Location: This is a hybrid role in Newark, NJ (2-3 days a week being onsite). Thus, local candidates in NJ/NY/PA or nearby areas highly preferred. Occasional travel to Pittsburgh, PA is expected to be once a month.
