We are looking to hire candidates with the required skill sets and experience for one of our clients in the financial services industry. This is an Onsite position based in Phoenix, AZ. It will be a 6 month contract with possible extension.
Note: The candidate must have prior experience with Amex.
*Candidates who are U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, GC EAD holders, H1B transfer candidates, H4 EAD holders, or TN visa holders eligible to work on W2 are highly preferred.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Java Architect. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in Java, API development, backend databases, and distributed system design. This person will play a key role in shaping the architecture of enterprise-level solutions while driving innovation and ensuring scalability and performance. The role requires strong technical leadership, deep problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of end-to-end system design.
Required Skills/Experience/Education:
• 10 years of hands-on experience in Java, APIs, and backend databases.
• Expertise in API development, database design, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with enterprise Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) is crucial.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural design, with the ability to make informed choices.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end project design, and problem-solving.
• Preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• The candidate must have prior experience with Amex.
Other Job Specifications:
• Employment Type: W2 only. NO C2C, NO 1099.
• Contracting Period: 6 months contract, with potential for extension.
• Job Location: Onsite – Phoenix, AZ.
• Contract Rate: $60 - $65/hr. on W2.
