THE JOB
As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all SEO deliverables are of high quality and executed on time. This role offers a vibrant learning environment where you can enhance and refine your skills in organic search and content marketing. With a strong emphasis on continuous growth and innovation, you initially will focus on execution with the opportunity to work on more advanced content projects over the course of your first year, providing a rich landscape for professional development and mastery in the field.
Key Responsibilities
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$60,000—$69,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and increase website traffic and on-site conversions
- Identify on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, schema markup, and page structure that can be optimized to improve organic ranking
- Support ongoing technical initiatives, such as site speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, crawlability, and structured data enhancements.
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO KPIs (organic traffic, rankings, CTR, conversions, etc.) using Google Search Console, SEMrush, and other SEO tools.
- Compile monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and other KPIs to attribute the effectiveness of optimizations and develop insights about the impact of key SEO initiatives
- Uncover trends and search insights that supports partner editorial development to align with consumer intent and down funnel activities
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing content and develop new content strategies for high-value keywords and long-tail search queries.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to elevate and implement new SEO techniques
- Organized with excellent project and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Polished communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to interact professionally with internal and client teams – in person and on conference calls
- Inquisitive and dynamic enough to learn new technologies and processes
- Team player, quick to adapt and eager to collaborate on projects
- Not afraid to ask questions or seek guidance when faced with a challenge, but also capable of finding solutions independently through research and data analysis
- 1 years hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or enterprise environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, journalism or communications
- Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, BrightEdge, or similar tools. Hands on knowledge of Adobe Analytics strongly preferred
- Proficiency in keyword research, competitive analysis, and SERP landscape evaluation
- Understanding of content strategy, user intent, and conversion optimization
- Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, AEM)
- Up to date knowledge of SEO trends and changes in the search marketplace
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, paid-media teams, and content strategists
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
