GENERAL DESCRIPTION

OMICRON is an international company serving the electrical power industry with innovative testing and diagnostic solutions. The Service Coordinator is on the front lines of our customer service experience supporting our Houston Service Center. As a point of contact for our service process, this position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, data entry precision, and attention to detail.The position combines administrative, customer service, and office organization responsibilities. This is a unique role in a fast-paced team-oriented, friendly, and fun environment. Flexibility and a positive attitude are key. This position will be located in Houston, TX, and report to the Service Center Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist customers with service inquiries via phone and email
  • Provide service quotes, invoices and manage the collection process for service orders
  • Process service orders for repair and calibration services
  • Organize shipments
  • Organize loaner equipment upon request and availability
  • Order replacement parts
  • Act as a backup for logistics
  • Perform other duties and projects as asigned

  • WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of customer service, office administration, or comparable work experience
