Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Project Manager to lead and manage the implementation of a client billing platform. The candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven record of managing complex projects. This role requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage executive stakeholders. This resource will work at the direction of the IM Finance Business and Technology Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cross Functional Team Coordination:
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams (example stakeholders: PPA, Salespage Support, IM IT, FRPPE, Finance)
• Schedule and organize cross-functional meetings, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are involved; including agenda preparation
• Document and follow up on actions and decisions made during meetings
• Dependencies and interdependencies management
2. Project Planning and Execution:
• Combination of strategic thinking and strong tactical project management skills
• Ability to collect, collate and apply independent thinking to craft a project plan that meets the project deliverables
• Lead the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Guide and support project team members and internal teams to ensure deliverables fall within the scope and budget
• Identify, track, and escalate critical issues to minimize project risk factors
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and escalating them to the stakeholders
• Maintain decision logs; including assumptions, discussions, and decisions while ensuring all necessary parties are involved to mitigate risks.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within scope
3. Reporting and Documentation:
• This is a hybrid role that will produce documentation supporting IMF and IMF Technology
• Prepare status reports, agendas, meeting minutes, and lead project meetings that are flexible and productive in achieving goals and objectives
• Lead the development and maintenance of other project artifacts e.g. Issues Log, RAID log, etc.
• Create technology requirements including end to end data flows from Golden Source to downstream consumption
• Prepare regular updates and presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders
• Ensure operational support processes are established and operationalized
4. Stakeholder Management:
• Proactive engagement with stakeholder groups
• Act as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, addressing queries and concerns in a timely manner
• Facilitate conflict resolution within and between teams
• Manage and facilitate documentation reviews and sign-offs
5. Project Governance
• Establish governance forums and own material preparation
• Lead the development and maintenance of Steering Committee and executive update materials
