Our customer is seeking a Senior Associate - Analytical Chemistry to join their Pivotal AS unit in Thousand Oaks, CA. This role is 100% onsite and requires a dynamic professional with strong laboratory skills to support process development, method development, and sample analysis.

Role: Sr. Associate

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Duration: 1-Year Contract (with possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $25 to $29 an hour on W2

✅ What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

• Sample Management & Analysis: Perform hands-on sample testing and analysis.
• Chromatography (HPLC): Operate chromatography instruments, conduct liquid chromatography, and perform wet chemistry tests (80% of the role).
• Method Development: Support analytical method development and optimization.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze experimental data, generate reports, and maintain documentation.
• GMP Compliance: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols.

✅ What We're Looking For (Top Skills):

• Laboratory Equipment Operation: Comfortable handling pH meters, chromatography instruments, and general lab equipment.
• Chromatography Expertise: Strong experience with HPLC or similar chromatography techniques.
• Wet Chemistry: Hands-on experience in basic wet chemistry techniques.
• Regulated Lab Experience: Previous experience working in GMP, EPA, medical, or micro lab settings is a huge plus.
• Documentation Skills: Strong attention to detail in data analysis and report writing.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Education: Master’s degree (preferred) OR Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant lab experience.
• Local Candidate: Must be local to the Greater Los Angeles area due to daily onsite requirements and potential on-call responsibilities.
• GMP Experience: Previous exposure to a regulated lab environment (GMP, EPA, medical, micro lab) is highly desirable.
