Job Description
Software Test Analyst Resources are responsible for validating the full functionality of systems, interoperability with databases, and horizontal and vertical integration with other interfaced systems (end to end).
They develop test cases (both manual and automated), ensuring traceability to User Story acceptance criteria, executing test plans, compiling test results, and providing support to the client's testers as needed.
Software Test Analyst Resources do not access Federal Tax Information.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications (Mandatory) :
An Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5 years' experience and 2 years or more experience testing web-based software, Edifecs file processing software, EDI transaction and integrated eligibility systems.
Formal education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field can be substituted for the following years of experience :
Bachelor's degree : 1 year
Master's degree : 2 years
Completing multiple phases of test, including system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Analyzing system requirements, creating test data and test plans to ensure that new and revised systems meet the customers' needs.
Experience with Automated Testing practices, framework, and tools.
Ability to develop and execute Test Automation scripts Mobile, online web application and web services.
Designated SME in assigned area of responsibility.
Conducts additional testing activities including end-to-end, performance, and smoke-testing.
Assists Client Business Analysts in troubleshooting issues and analyzing the root cause of production defects.
Leading testing activities - includes the understanding and communication of requirements to other testers and the review of created test cases and scripts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand complex system functionality.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts.
Ability to thrive in a deadline driven, stressful project environment.
2 years or more of experience working for a Health Insurance Exchange or Health and Human Services system
