Overview
Omne Martial Arts, Fitness & Wellness is seeking an experienced, passionate & dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our tribe at our new location on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. A black belt in some sort of martial arts is a must. If you enjoy working with students from ages 3 & up, this position is perfect for you.
Omne teaches a mixed martial arts hybrid style focusing on the arts of Muay Thai, BJJ, Tae Kwon Do, Self-Defense, & Karate.
Omne has a set curriculum and a set way each instructor is required to follow when teaching classes for both kids and adults.

Duties
- Educate students in various martial arts disciplines
- Teach proper techniques, and principles of martial arts
- Conduct classes focusing on skill development, discipline, and physical fitness
- Manage student behavior effectively during classes
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment
- Organize and supervise martial arts demonstrations and events
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall student experience
Qualifications
- Experience working with kids in a teaching or coaching capacity
- Proficiency in a martial arts disciplines. A blackbelt is preferred, but years of experience
will work as well.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and inspire students
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Able to work with neurodiverse kids
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit students' needs
- Previous experience teaching kids is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
