Warehouse Associate/Shipping and Receiving

We are a privately and locally owned business that specializes in online retail sales, wholesale and distribution. We provide a vast variety of products to thousands of customers and businesses nationwide, including smoke shops, tobacco stores, head shops, convenient stores, and many more.

We are seeking a warehouse associate to join our quickly growing company. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, picking and packing orders, count and restock inventory, product control, operating packaging machines and warehouse equipment, etc. If you are able to follow basic instructions, dependable and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic, we would love to meet you! Our ideal candidate will be a quick learner, highly adaptable, and loves a challenge.

Pay Rate: We offer paid training for a trial period at a reduced rate of $10 an hour. Once the trail period has ended, the employee will be reviewed and receive their base pay, starting at $11 an hour. If you're a hard worker and fast learner, we will notice you and make sure you're paid accordingly. We take care of our employees!

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assist Management in day-to-day operations

-Prepare and package products accordingly and with accuracy

-Inventory: Receive and restock products, load and unload trucks, inventory count, etc.

-Assist with inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

-Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

-Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner

-Light janitorial duties, such as warehouse/office cleanliness

SKILLS:

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, order forms, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, etc.

-Efficiently package orders for shipment with minimal/no mistakes

-Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Your health and safety are priority!

-Ability to efficiently and safely lift heavy objects, handle tools, equipment, and heavy loads, such as a drill, pallet jack, etc.

-Great organizational and time management skills.

-Successfully work both independently and in a team environment.

-Must be able to work some holidays, overtime and weekends when needed.

-Willing to complete warehouse safety course.

-Willing to complete a background check and reference checks.

-Willing to complete random drug tests.

Warehouse experience is a PLUS, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates. If you have restaurant experience as a line cook and can follow basic instructions, we welcome you to apply.
