Analog IC Automation and Design Specialist
Pioneering Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converter Innovation
This role focuses on developing automation methodologies for high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. The ideal candidate will be a skilled analog and mixed signal IC designer with the ability to lead the Automation Compiler Team in transforming manual designs into parameterized representations for versatile use. Key qualifications for this position include 5 years of experience in high-performance analog or mixed-signal IC development, extensive knowledge of high-speed analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog data converter design techniques, and proficiency in Cadence schematic capture, virtuoso, Spectre, and/or HSPICE circuit simulation tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team, are also essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate and parameterize existing high-performance transistor-level IP designs
- Work as a member of the Automation Compiler Team, driving innovation and transformation of manual designs into parameterized representations
- Lead the effort to transform manual designs into parameterized representations for versatile use
- Utilize coding skills, preferably in Python and/or Skill, to help the compiler team achieve automation goals
