We are seeking a Senior Integration, Verification & Test Engineer to support our exciting Space Force program. As the IV&T Principal Engineer, you will lead the Integration, Verification, and Test (IV&T) activities for complex systems in a dynamic, mission-critical environment. You will be responsible for developing strategies, overseeing execution, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements and program objectives. This role requires deep expertise in integration and test engineering, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.
What you will do :
Integration and Verification : Develop and execute integration and verification strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure all system components are seamlessly integrated and meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
Testing Leadership : Lead the design, implementation, and execution of test campaigns, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
Requirements Traceability : Ensure thorough traceability of requirements through all phases of testing, using tools like DOORS, Jama, or similar platforms.
Defect Management : Oversee defect identification, tracking, and resolution processes to ensure system quality and reliability.
Risk Mitigation : Identify and mitigate risks associated with system integration and testing activities.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineering teams, program managers, and customers to define integration and test objectives and ensure alignment with mission goals.
Documentation : Produce comprehensive test plans, reports, and technical documentation to support program milestones and certification efforts.
Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree
10 years of experience in system integration, verification, and testing for complex systems.
Experience :
10 years of experience in system integration, verification, and testing for complex systems.
Extensive experience in space, defense, or aerospace programs preferred.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale IV&T efforts, from planning through execution and reporting.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency with IV&T tools and methodologies, including automated testing platforms.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw.
Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Ansible.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and protocols, including MIL-STD and IEEE testing standards.
Excellent professional / interpersonal / written and verbal communication skills
The ability to operate in a team environment consisting of both internal and external members, co-workers and customers
The ability to document and electronically store daily task information, architecture, processes, and user instructions
The ability to work independently
The ability to lead a team of engineers
The ability to present briefings to clients
Desired skills :
Advanced certifications in testing or systems engineering (e.g., ISTQB, INCOSE CSEP).
Expertise in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Bash for test automation.
Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to brief technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.

Proposed Pay Scale : $160,200-$199,300
