What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial Supervisor position at Omni Fiber LLC?
- Supervise, plan, and organize aerial construction efforts for new builds, maintenance, and storm restoration.
- Coordinate with engineers and developers to design plant layouts, including drawing/sketching equipment installation locations and completing bills of materials (BOM).
- Monitor daily construction progress and performance of in-house teams and contractors, ensuring compliance with agreements and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control of work performed by internal teams and contractors.
- Review and submit daily production reports and reconcile submitted invoices to completed work.
- Ensure that permitting and make-ready processes are followed before construction begins.
- Provide regular updates to managers or designated delegates regarding construction progress.
- Process and communicate damage claims as needed, updating all necessary parties.
- Foster positive employee relations by maintaining open lines of communication and offering ongoing support.
- Adhere to industry-specific regulations, local, state, and federal safety codes, and company policies.
- If you are assigned a company vehicle, you will be responsible for stocking, cleaning, and reporting maintenance needs to Fleet Manager.
- 5 years of experience as an Aerial Lineman.
- Supervisory or foreman experience in aerial construction.
- In-depth understanding of telecom infrastructure, specifically in OSP construction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer use.
- Ability to use hand tools (e.g., electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers) and climbing equipment (e.g., gaffs, safety harnesses, ladders).
- Experience working with aerial machinery and equipment
- Ability to work at heights, including climbing poles up to 32 feet and lifting up to 90 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of HFC/FTTH construction and National Electric Code, National Electrical Safety Code, and OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to driving and construction work.
- This job will include traveling 2-5 days a week. You will receive hotel accommodations and per diem for every night you spend the night.
- Overtime is required and you must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays dependent on the job and the company's needs.
- Able to perform night maintenance and emergency callouts.
- Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record within company standards required.
- Class A CDL is nice but not required.

Salary : $110,400 - $112,800
